Church of the Icon of the Mother of God, Samegrelo-Upper Svaneti, Georgia

Its history dates back to 2015, when the great construction of this sacred place began. Three years of hard work and dedication, and in 2018 the temple was finally opened and consecrated.

The personification of faith and tradition, this cathedral not only symbolizes religious unity, but is also a testament to the community of spirit of the local people. Moreover, the construction of the church was the result of the efforts of one of the local residents, Koba Ghigliniani, whose dedication and perseverance were embodied in this magnificent sanctuary.
