The Trinity church of Suatisi village is known as the lower one. That implies an upper one somewhere, yet nothing is told of it here, and no second Suatisi shrine is known in the district.
The place is secluded: almost three kilometres from here to the house of the Dormition at Abano, three and a half to the monastery of the Twelve Apostles, and those are all the neighbours. The mountains of Mtskheta-Mtianeti lie all around, and the villages are few.
The church is rural and its gates are opened by arrangement. The rules are the usual ones: covered shoulders and knees, a headscarf for women, quiet. The road here is a mountain one and drifts over in winter, so it is better to come in the warm season and with daylight to spare.
