The name of this place is a single word: salotsavi, that is a place of prayer. So in Georgia is called a small structure or a marked spot where people come to pray outside a service; it need not carry a dedication, and none is named here.
Zenubani lies in the mountains between Dusheti and Pasanauri. The Trinity complex of the same village stands about six hundred metres away, the Delpini Khati site three kilometres, the Mzetsveri church near Dolaskedi four. The valley here is narrow and the road runs along the slope.
Places of prayer are rarely locked and can be approached at any hour. Candles and offerings are left where they stand and are not moved. In winter the mountain roads are not cleared at once, so the warmer months are easier. The shrines of the district fit into one trip along the slope road.
