The church of Bulachauri village stands without a separate dedication: its name is that of the village, and no other has stayed with it.
The village lies in Mtskheta-Mtianeti, apart from the neighbouring parishes: the nearest church of the district, the Marian church of Sakramulo, stands some five and a half kilometres away, and the Transfiguration church at Kochoba almost seven. The road here runs through hills, and there is more forest around than ploughland.
Services are held at weekends, and on weekdays the church more often stands closed, so a visit is better arranged in advance. Neither the car park nor the entrance is adapted for wheelchairs. The rules are the usual ones: covered shoulders and knees, a headscarf for women, quiet.
