The ruins of an old church survive at Magraneti. Neither a name nor a dedication has stayed with them, and there have long been no regular services here.
The Marian church of Magraneti itself stands very close, about three hundred and forty metres away: two monuments of the village almost side by side, though in different states of survival. Further off in the hills lies Kvemo Nakalakari with its church, about three and a half kilometres away.
You can come up to the ruins at any hour, there are no gates. The masonry is old, so people do not climb the walls or move the fallen stones. The place is still revered, and one should behave by these walls as in a working church.
