The village church of Kvemo Arkevani stands east of Bolnisi. Whom it is dedicated to is not said in the district, while the church remains one of the busiest in this part of Kvemo Kartli.
The nearest described shrines lie a couple of kilometres away: the church of Queen Tamar in Tamarisi and the St George church of the same village. Farther still, some six kilometres off, begins the Nakhiduri and Kolagiri cluster, where seven holy places stand on a small patch of ground.
There are no regular services, and visits are arranged with local people. The village is alive and the road to the church is well used.
