A small Virgin Mary chapel stands by Uchameti village, at a spot called Lashe. The chapel takes its name from that place.
Lashe lies west of Kharagauli, across slopes above the valley, and the name belongs to several sites: a kilometre and a half away, in Igoreti, stands the Kviratskhoveli church.
You can come at any time and quiet is expected inside. Modest dress is appropriate, and offerings are left where they are.
