What not to do in Georgia in order not to be disappointed in the trip?
Be vigilant, but do not expect that in Georgia they will try to deceive you at every corner.
Relax.
Georgia expectation and reality
Today the topic is interesting, every tourist wants to know where not to get into the prosak. Personal experience about recreation and living in Georgia.
And they say that chickens are milked…
There are a lot of comments and even disputes on Facebook, Instagram, Youtube under our videos about hospitable Georgia. A wave of negativity and a sharply negative attitude towards the vaunted hospitality of the Georgian people. Who is who? I have been living in Georgia for two years, my family is here, my children are here. Our first impressions also made a furor revolution in our heads.
When you walk through the market and they treat you, offer you to taste not one, two berries, but give you handfuls – you involuntarily think. What's the catch? Our mentality is not ready for this. However, there are no people combed under one comb. Among Russians, Belarusians, Ukrainians, Germans there are people who cause pride and those for whom it is a shame. And who doesn't have deeds for which you blush, remembering? I mean, we're all DIFFERENT. We react differently in different situations. This is the device of the world, this is normal. There are no perfect and sinless ones.
Every sandpiper praises his swamp – this is such a job
What I really, really like here is that the Georgian people have formed their attitude – the government of the country (any) this is one thing, citizens are another. You should not build your point of view on the field of the "first" channel.
It must be understood that the main channels are doing the job, propogondons should hait someone else's and sing their own. My personal experience is that I have never experienced neglect of my Russian language. And I do not know of a single case when a Georgian treated a guest in his country disrespectfully.
Let's live together
Even if you had a trouble with a local, remember that we are all different from each other. That after a while you will meet the exact opposite experience.
We now live in a remote village. A village in Georgia is one big family. Help and support each other, while no one is looking for benefits. This is the spirit of Georgians, this is the atmosphere of kindness and hospitality.
Who drives the bad wave?
I think I won't reveal the secret. I can't answer for everyone. However, this is the work of haters (by the way, in Russian – a hater and a scold). These are people who have never been to Georgia at all, their opinion is programmed on television. My friends, don't waste your time on discord and quarrels, come and see.
Get to the point
In total, there are good things in Georgia, which are a hundred times more and not very small. Tune in for a pleasant vacation and be ready for trouble. Yes, there are imperfect people in Georgia too. But the main mood of the people is respect for the guest.
Welcome! Sunny Georgia will enchant you!
