The ban on the export of gasoline has been lifted
From the beginning of next week, the Russian government lifts a temporary ban on gasoline exports in order to maintain the stability of fuel production and prevent the unloading of refineries. The decision was announced by the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, noting that it was made in the context of price stabilization in the domestic market.
The ban on the export of gasoline and diesel fuel was introduced in September, when stock and retail fuel prices reached record levels. The lifting of the ban is carried out taking into account the maintenance of high levels of gasoline production and the prevention of possible imbalances at oil refineries. The Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation stressed that, if necessary, the country can return the ban on supplies to world markets. The significance of this step lies in the strategic management of the fuel market to ensure stability and prevent possible imbalances in the industry.
