The song that will represent Georgia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2023 has been selected
The title of the song is "Over The Sky". Nikoloz Kharati and Oto Bazerashvili will also perform together with Anastasia Vasadze, who will perform at the competition. On November 26, the "Junior Eurovision - 2023" will be held in the French city of Nice. This contest was made possible thanks to the victory of Lisandro, the representative of France, at last year's Eurovision Song Contest in Yerevan.
Three different locations were chosen to create the clip: the pavilion of the Georgian Public Broadcaster, the Expo Georgia Winter Garden and the Space Research Center. Director Zaza Orashvili was responsible for the shooting. Musicians and producers Mebo Nutsubidze and Betho created the composition. The song contains elements of Georgian polyphony, which makes it recognizable and colorful. The main idea of the song is to believe in yourself and your capabilities, as well as to search for heroes within yourself, and not in others.
Last year Georgia was represented by Mariam Bigvava, who took third place. Georgia has been participating in the junior Eurovision Song Contest since 2007. In 2008, 2011 and 2016, participants from Georgia became winners.
