Tbilisi "Komarov School" wins international Physics Olympiads in Japan

The students of the Vladimir Komarov Tbilisi School of Physics and Mathematics again deservedly attract attention with the quality of their education. At the 53rd International Physics Olympiad (IPhO 2023), held in Japan, they represented Georgia and successfully won four medals and one certificate of honor.

IPhO 2023 brought together about 400 talented schoolchildren from 84 countries, and the students of the Komarov School proved their outstanding preparation and creative approach to physics. Irakli Ugulava and Dachi Chotashvili received silver medals, and Andria Manjavidze and Luka Tvalavadze - bronze. Bidzina Gagnidze was awarded a certificate of merit for his achievements.

Komarov School is known for its excellent educational approach and is considered one of the strongest educational institutions in Georgia. The school is attended by gifted children with a mathematical mindset who continue to shine at international competitions and Olympiads.

For its 50 years of active activity, the Komarov School has been constantly striving for in-depth study of exact and natural sciences. Teachers whose knowledge and experience continuously attract and delight students are themselves graduates of this outstanding school.

As a result of successful education at the Komarov School, more than 70 graduates in recent years have successfully continued their studies at the world's leading universities in bachelor's degree programs. Their successes become the pride of Georgia and confirm the status of the Komarov School as a landmark educational institution where future leaders of science and innovation are developing.

    Молодцы ребята! Мне математика вообще никогда в школе не давалась, плюс учителя всегда так трудно все объясняли. Все таки подход к предмету тоже важен, если преподаватели могут доступно и интересно донести знания до детей- то результат положительный обязательно будет!
