The Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia has presented a special postage stamp "Heydar Aliyev 100"

A special postage stamp was issued on the idea of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia to mark an important event - the centenary of Heydar Aliyev.

During the solemn presentation, the officials noted the great importance of issuing a stamp dedicated to Heydar Aliyev and stressed the friendly relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan. Georgia and Azerbaijan established diplomatic relations on November 18, 1992. Since then, these countries have been actively cooperating in various fields such as trade, transport, energy, manufacturing and logistics.

These two countries are strategic partners and actively cooperate both in a bilateral format and within the framework of international projects. Some of these projects are of strategic importance for the entire region, such as the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway, the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline and the Southern Gas Corridor.

Azerbaijan is also one of the five main trading partners of Georgia, which indicates the proximity of economic ties between these two countries.
