Updated images of Adjara will appear on the website with online maps
On June 18, Google specialists completed a large-scale work to collect up-to-date information about the historical south-western region of Georgia.
Fresh pictures of Kobuleti, Batumi, the Botanical Garden and other attractive natural objects will be available on the Internet resource within 14 days.
As a result of the large-scale event, the database with photographs will be updated and Google users will be able to walk around new notable places, National Parks and the Black Sea coast of Georgia.
According to the Department of Tourism, free access to digital materials about Adjara should increase the demand for tourist destinations in this direction, which will be useful, because the tourist season in the region has already opened.
The foreign professionals invited by the Georgian authorities not only did their job, but also gave a master class for local fans of photo and video art.
During the forced pause, employees of the tourism sector were able to carefully prepare for the reception of guests. Canyoning, routes to gorges and extreme bike trails have been added to the traditional resort entertainment.
There is a free hotline for tourists in the country: 577-909-0-93, and the official portal of the department https://visitajara.com/ka/routes .
