The Georgian coach will head the champion club of Kazakhstan
Georgian football coach Levan Korgalidze is entering a new stage of his coaching career by appointing the head coach of the Kazakh club "Zhenis", which has won the title of national champion three times.
The return of Zhenis to the Premier League of Kazakhstan after winning the season in the first division made this moment even more significant. In the last championship, Zhenis, under the guidance of coach Rinat Alietov, finished in third place in the previous league, paving the way for a return to the top league. Georgian legionnaires Tamaz Makatsaria and Lasha Kasradze made a Western contribution to the team.
Levan Korgalidze, who successfully trains Tbilisi clubs Saburtalo and Lokomotiv, replaces Rinat Alietov as head coach.
Zhenis is a club with a rich history in Kazakhstani football, restored in 2021 after bankruptcy.
