Georgian Agricultural products at the largest exhibition in the USA
Within the framework of the U.S. Private Label Trade Show, one of the largest events in the United States, more than 1.5 thousand companies from 55 countries presented their products, including Georgian agricultural producers, according to Deputy Head of the Ministry of Agriculture of Georgia, Tengiz Nasaridze.
At the exhibition, which was held in Chicago from November 12 to 14, six entrepreneurial companies from Georgia for the first time demonstrated their assortment, including hazelnuts, juices, cheese, teas, jams, bay leaf and spices. Most of them are participants in government programs.
Commenting on the participation of Georgian entrepreneurs, Tengiz Nasaridze noted that the goal is to increase the visibility of high-quality Georgian agricultural products on the world market.
During the exhibition, Nasaridze held talks with Anthony Aloy, Vice President of the Association of Private Label Manufacturers (PLMA), on support mechanisms for Georgian companies.
More than 1.5 thousand companies participating in the exhibition provided an opportunity to negotiate and establish links with private trading markets in the USA and Canada. The event has also become a platform for manufacturers who are considering combining their products under a common brand, which is expected to significantly reduce marketing costs.
