The Cardano blockchain will help fight the falsification of Georgian wines.

Recently, the Cardano Foundation platform announced the signing of a partnership agreement with the National Wine Agency of Georgia, on the basis of which it is going to use the Cardano blockchain to track the full cycle of wine supplies exported to Europe, the USA and Australia. Also, with the help of this technology, it will be possible to monitor the quality of Georgian wines and fight counterfeiting.

A pilot project for 100,000 bottles of wine of the 2022 harvest is planned to be launched soon in the town of Bolnisi.
