🏺 Only recently discussed the discovery of a wine press 1800 years ago. And today it was reported that in Georgia they will produce "kvevri" (wine vessels) on a 3D printer.
⚱️Such an innovative idea was implemented by David Mizandari, the founder of the company "Qvevry".
💰 "Qvevry" is the winner of the grant program of financing of the Agency of Innovations and Technologies of Georgia (GITA) in the amount of 100 thousand lari – this is approximately 35,000 dollars.
According to David Mizandari, the 3D printer was created specifically for printing kvevri, and parts and spare parts for the manufacture of equipment were supplied from around the world. A lot of work has also been done to select the clay that is ideal for printing.
