The Georgian flag in Kutaisi, a flagpole bearing the national flag at the entrance to the city from the Geguti district, on Nikia Street.
The flagpole itself is modest and roadside, but Kutaisi has an unusual and well-documented connection to the history of Georgian flags from various eras.
The current flag, a white cloth with the St. George's Cross in the center and four Bolnisi-Katskhe crosses in the corners, was adopted on January 14, 2004, after the Rose Revolution.
