Restaurant "Glintwine"

I purchased a 0.5L bottle of water for 6GEL and asked to use the restroom. The bartender, an older woman, told me that it’s primarily a dining establishment and made it clear that I wasn’t welcome to use the facilities.

The restaurant was quiet tonight, making us hesitant to enter. Despite that, we decided to go in and enjoyed a wonderful Georgian meal with wine. This was our second visit this week, and both experiences were great. The service was good, and we appreciated the complimentary wine refill. The atmosphere was rated low, but that was mainly because we were the only diners.

Incredible food and the friendliest staff! They surprised us on Women’s Day with a bottle of wine, which is a lovely and rare gesture these days. Thank you! I will definitely return! :)

Очень разочарован, еда была ужасной, а порции даже не хватили бы для новорожденного... Мы заказали баранину на ужин, и за 38 GEL получили всего 5 жалких кусочков. Остальная еда также разочаровала. ИЗБЕГАЙТЕ ЭТО МЕСТО ЛЮБОЙ ЦЕНОЙ.

Service was slow and the food was terrible.

Никто не встретил, стол приходилось искать самому, меню не принесли сразу, пришлось брать с соседнего стола! Порции крошечные, аджарский хачапури совсем миниатюрный, а цены завышенные! Ждали харчо и хачапури 30 минут!

Portions are small, taste is average, and the wait time is long. They also add a 15% tip automatically. I had to return because it was the only place open late. Unfortunately, the second visit was even worse, and I wouldn't have come back if I had known how bad it would be. This was supposed to be a Greek salad.

We had a wonderful dinner with friends. The staff was friendly, and our food came out quickly. Everything was quite tasty, and I particularly loved the beans cooked in a clay pot. The prices were also fair.

At the end of the night, they surprised us with a large jug of red wine on the house, which was a lovely gesture.

Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience.

The overall experience was disappointing. We visited twice as a group of six. The food was mediocre; the hamburger bun was extremely dry, similar to chips, and they served it with fries without asking. They also charge 4 GEL for ketchup. When ordering tea, it comes with a spoon but no sugar. The mushroom cream soup was decent.

Service was poor as well; they often forgot our orders or brought items we didn't request.

The biggest issue was the bill, which is presented in Georgian, making it hard to understand. They add a tip fee that varies from bill to bill, ranging from 0% to 15%, and we couldn't figure out why. When we split the bill, some received a 10% charge while others had 0%. One waitress said it was a tax for the government, while another claimed it was a tip. It feels like they're misleading foreign customers or there's a lack of clarity about their pricing.
