Short answer

The easiest way from Tbilisi to Batumi is the Stadler train: second class costs from 35 GEL and first class about 75 GEL, and the trip takes about 5 hours. The coach from Ortachala costs about 40-45 GEL and the minibus from Didube 30-35 GEL, but both are slower. Flights take about an hour and usually cost 100-200 GEL, while a transfer or taxi for the whole car is about 300-450 GEL.
