Minibuses, train, taxis and borders.
Short answer
From Tbilisi to Yerevan you can take minibuses and buses, a taxi or transfer, or the train, whose timetable depends on the season. The road trip via the Sadakhlo border crossing takes about 5-6 hours including the border. Russian citizens need no visa for Armenia.

- If you plan to return to Georgia, cross with the same passport you entered on.
Details
