Georgia presents its first country pavilion at the SWITCH technology forum in Singapore
Georgia took part in Singapore Innovation and Technology Week, SWITCH 2026, for the first time with a country pavilion called StartUP in Georgia. The Ministry of Economy reported this on 29 October 2026. It is the first country pavilion, not the first time Georgian companies have appeared at the forum.
Five Georgian startups had individual stands in the pavilion: Clinova, Dunno, Omniform Systems, Vybe and PhytoTester. Their participation was supported by the Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA), which operates under the Ministry of Economy. The event is held in Singapore, not in Tbilisi.
Deputy Economy Minister Irakli Nadareishvili visited the stands and reviewed the startups' technology products. GITA Chairman Avtandil Kasradze joined the visit. Readers interested in conditions for IT companies in Georgia can find a separate Madloba article on taxes and registration.
SWITCH brings together startups, investors, technology companies and ecosystem representatives to build international cooperation and business contacts. The ministry's report does not mention signed contracts, funding raised or awards. Foreigners considering their own company may find it useful to read how to register a business in Georgia.
