Air Georgia Signs Memorandum With Albanian Investors on New Terminal Near Tbilisi Airport

Air Georgia has signed a memorandum with Albanian investors on developing a new passenger terminal near Tbilisi airport, the airline's founder told BMG. According to the founder, Albania's Kastrati Group plans to invest at least $150 million in Georgia, and the figure could be higher depending on the project's needs.

To reach the planned site of six hectares, the airline needs additional land beyond the plot it already holds. In the report of 21 September 2026, the founder said the planned next steps were signing a joint agreement with the investors and meeting the Georgian government.
