A nuance with these state veterinary clinics: I have come across two different opinions that we should contact the state veterinary clinic where the cat actually lives or where the owner of the cat is registered or has an official lease agreement. We went to the owner's place of residence and everything was successful. I recommend calling them before leaving, we once kissed the door because the only veterinarian was “on the move”

So, you come to the state veterinary clinic and say that you want to take the cat out, the doctor himself specifies where, because he knows a little better than you whether the destination country has any special rules. You do everything the doctor says, he puts a chip on, gives you passports.

Sedative for the trip. First of all, the Belavia rules state that an animal should not be sedated or sedated in any way. The cat is chipped, you are waiting for quarantine. Purchase of tickets. You can buy a ticket for an animal only at the Belavia ticket office, but not on the website. A ticket to the cabin costs 50 euros. Important clarification: one person can only carry one animal if it is a cabin. Transportation. In short, Belavia had completely draconian carrying size limits, we were 5 cm taller and no one cared. The main thing is that it should fit under the seat in front of the person sitting. I saw a girl carrying a cat in a full-fledged large carrier. 5 days before departure. You need to go to the state veterinary clinic and get a certificate (certificate) of the 1st form. It's for departure, the veterinarians will understand what you mean. They gave us an hour for two cats. They'll just look at the cat, look at the passport and the chip, and write it out. The certificate must be taken 5 days before departure or less. I recommend checking that there is no error in the chip number in this certificate, it is entered manually, so who knows?)

Departure day. You arrive at the airport three hours in advance, and even before check-in, you go to the same vet control (ask how to get to it on the information desk, it's not that easy to explain). There, your certificate is changed to some other piece of paper and you go to registration with it. That's it, no one will be particularly interested in your cats anymore. Then everything is as usual.
