East Georgia Tour: Tbilisi, Kakheti and Sighnaghi 2026
Many travelers choose Eastern Georgia for a reason. Nature really surprises, every day of the trip will bring new emotions and impressions.
Travel plan
Day 1
After breakfast we will go for an interesting walk in Tbilisi. The guide will reveal this city from an unexpected side, tell a little history.
By lunch we will have a culinary master class, where we will learn how to cook Georgian khinkali.
In the evening – wine tasting and a walk through the night Tbilisi.
Day 2
We are going from Tbilisi to the townBorjomi. There will be several stops along the way.
The first of them is the royal pantheon near Mtskheta. Next – the Rkon gorge, dense forests and incredible views.
The next point is the local winery, where we will have lunch and taste Georgian wines. We will spend this night in Borjomi.
Day 3
Today we are waiting for a walk away from the hustle and bustle of the city. First we will take a walk through the Borjomi Gorge. Silence, dense forest, nature amazes with its diversity.
Next according to the plan – bathing in the springs. After that we have lunch and go to Tbilisi.
Day 4
Today we are going to Alazani Valley. Along the way, we will have a Kakheti master class, where we will learn how to cook some traditional treats.
It is important to note that Kakhetia– the region of winemaking, so various excursions related to this drink and tastings are inevitable here, because wine in Georgia is not just a drink, but a whole art.
By evening we will arrive at Sighnaghi. A night walk through the wonderful city is provided for us.
Day 5
In the morning we are waiting for a walk along Sighnaghi. We will admire the views of the Alazani Valley. Next we will visit Bodby Monastery and the ruins of the ancient Ninotsminda temple.
After that we will go to Tbilisi
Day 6
In the morning we will go to Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia. Let's admire the incredible panoramas from above.
Next item– Zhinvali Lake, next – lunch.
We will spend the night in Tbilisi.
Day 7
Free time, transfer to the airport.
Cost
2 100 GEL = 48 785.43 RUB (at the rate of 2020).
1 GEL = 23.23 RUB (10.07.2020).
