Restaurant "Atmosphere"

I have mixed feelings about this place, but after my last visit, I'm really disappointed. I first came a week ago with my family in the evening, and everything was perfect—the desserts were amazing, drinks were great, and the service was fast.

Because of that, I brought my mom back a few days later around noon. First, you have to pay 20 Lari per person just to enter, which we were fine with, but paying 40 Lari for two people just to step inside seems completely unfair for restaurant guests. That fee should definitely be waived or applied to your bill if you’re ordering food. It feels especially wrong when the kitchen is closed and the tower isn’t even rotating.

The service on this second visit was terrible. We waited 20 minutes without anyone coming to our table. There seemed to be only two servers working. Despite trying to get a waitress's attention—she saw us but ignored us multiple times. When we finally got her to come over, she just told another waiter to take care of us. When he finally came, he informed us that the kitchen was closed and we’d have to wait another 15 minutes to order food, so we couldn’t even try it.

To make things worse, the globe wasn’t spinning. When we asked about that, we were told it only starts rotating at 7:00 PM. None of this information about kitchen hours or the rotation schedule is available on their website or at the entrance. If you’re charging an entry fee, you need to be clear about what’s actually available before people pay.

While the view is beautiful, you can find nice views at many other places without such a high cover charge. The main reason for coming here is the unique experience of the spinning tower, and we didn’t get that. The dessert was still delicious and the coffee was okay, but the lack of transparency, unfair pricing, and dismissive service ruined the experience for my mom’s first visit. It simply wasn't worth it.

To access it, there's a charge of 20 gel per person for the elevator, which would be more reasonable if it could be applied to food and drinks. This fee might be because many visitors come just to enjoy the view. Our server, Gia, was very friendly and lively, while Aslavi was attentive throughout our meal. The menu had limited options, but if you're a fan of sunsets, the experience is incredible as a tourist.

We enjoyed an amazing dinner with a stunning sunset, live music, and tasty food. It's perfect for a relaxed evening to appreciate the view, wine, and dishes. The khinkali with smoked chicken and parmesan sauce is absolutely divine!

We dined at a restaurant near the Alphabetic Tower in Batumi and were amazed by the incredible view and the delicious food. However, the service really impacted our experience. It took nearly 55 minutes for our order to be taken, and we had to find a waiter ourselves to get any attention.

The food was served at different times; one appetizer came first, then a main course after about 10 minutes, and the rest arrived even later. One dish was cold when it got to us, and when we mentioned it, it was taken back with a reluctant response about it sitting out for 15 minutes.

Our wine order took four requests before it finally arrived. Throughout the evening, the staff seemed disengaged and rarely checked on us. It's disappointing because the food and the view were both fantastic. The kitchen clearly does a great job, but the lack of proper service really detracted from the overall experience.

In summary, while the food is excellent and the scenery is breathtaking, the service is not up to the standard expected from a restaurant in such a prime location.
