Created by the talented sculptor Valerian Inaishvili, this installation represents two stylized human figures hugging. The union of their bodies forms a stone ring, symbolizing unity, eternal affection and boundless love.
The sculpture was commissioned and donated to the city by Zurab Kalandarishvili in 1988 and since then has been a favorite place for meetings, walks and photographs among local residents and visitors to the city.
The “Love” sculpture and the Art Museum are two prominent representatives of the cultural and artificial heritage of Adjara, which attract the attention of many visitors and allow them to delve into the soul and history of this beautiful region.
