The coffee machine was another example of the same issue: confusing pricing and café-like prices in a grocery store. They used to have a coffee machine. I ordered a coffee, but there was no clear price displayed, so I didn't expect it to be so pricey for a grocery store. I only learned the cost at the register after the coffee was made. The price was similar to what I'd pay at cafés around Tbilisi, where you get seating, service, and a nice environment. Here, it was just takeaway coffee from a grocery store. 😆 Charging café prices for takeaway coffee at a grocery store is honestly absurd. Maybe that's why they no longer have the coffee machine.

I had a disappointing experience with the cheese I purchased here. It was labeled as “Imeruli cheese,” but having tried many varieties before, I can confidently say this was the worst. Even more concerning, after just two days in the fridge, it developed a very unpleasant odor. Good cheese shouldn't spoil that quickly when stored properly. It became so off-putting that I didn't want to eat it and ended up throwing it away.

It seems like it's easy for them to charge customers high prices, but providing good quality and customer service is where they fall short. 😏

I had another letdown with the frozen Kalakuri khinkali I purchased. The price was similar to what I'd pay at a restaurant, but the quality was far from that standard. The meat was disappointing, and the khinkali didn’t taste like authentic Kalakuri khinkali.

When a business sets higher prices, customers should expect quality products and courteous service! They clearly don’t value customer feedback or take responsibility when issues arise.

I paid for fruit that ended up in the trash, and I encountered some of the worst customer service in Tbilisi. I bought two melons that weighed 3.7 kg at 7 GEL per kg, totaling 25.90 GEL. When I cut one open, it was green and unripe, so I couldn't eat it. Instead of leaving a bad review right away, I called the store to see if anything could be done.

I didn’t ask for a refund, just inquired if I could use the value of the melon for something else. The woman on the phone was shockingly rude and sarcastic, raising her voice and dismissing my concerns. When I asked if a solution was possible, she said “no way” and claimed she had cut a different melon that was fine, as if that mattered.

The worst part was how I was treated as a paying customer. The call ended with her hanging up on me while I was still speaking. To top it off, the phone number listed on Google Maps is wrong, making it hard to reach the store. I used to shop here, but after this experience, I won’t be returning. If good customer service is important to you, think again before shopping here.

Yemekler güzeldi, ama garsonlar oldukça kabaydı. Yedikten sonra hemen kalkmamız istendi.
