Ресторан "Friends"

An unexpected road closure led me to Gudauri one Tuesday afternoon, a place I hadn't known about. I stumbled toward the ski lifts in shoes with no grip and ended up at the first spot I could reach.

The chicken shkmeruli was amazing! I avoided trying it in Tbilisi, thinking it would be too creamy, but I was pleasantly surprised. The sauce was fantastic.

The atmosphere was relaxed, and the views of the main slope were spectacular.

We celebrated a birthday at this restaurant, and the food was truly delicious — no complaints there. However, the service was very disappointing. I arrived earlier to arrange everything, including a small birthday cake with candles from the restaurant, and asked if the staff could coordinate with the live musicians to play at the right moment (we were willing to pay extra).

In the evening, the service was chaotic. We had to remind the staff several times about water, wine, and even utensils. When it was time for the birthday celebration, the restaurant completely failed to coordinate with the musicians — they played separately, and it was confusing for everyone. The cake was also brought out incorrectly at first, and after we pointed it out, the administrator awkwardly asked the birthday person if they still wanted it.

Overall, the experience dampened the mood. I would recommend this place for the food and live music, but the service is really lacking.

Были здесь 22 марта 2026 года с большой компанией. Атмосфера отличная, персонал дружелюбный (угостили чачей), а еда очень вкусная! Настоятельно рекомендую!!!

Steer clear of this place! The service is awful. We waited 30 minutes for the waiter to take our order, and there were only four tables filled. Then we waited another 30 minutes for one coffee and one hot chocolate. After an hour, we left without our drinks. The staff didn’t seem to care at all.

Kızım hamburger sipariş etti ama nasıl pişmiş istediğimizi sormadılar. Standart geleceğini düşündük ama yanık köfteyle geldi. Ayrıca siparişi vermemizden sonra üç kez hatırlatmak zorunda kaldık, çok geç geldi. Ben et yemeği sipariş ettim ama yanında hiçbir şey yoktu. Ekmek getireceklerini söylediler ama onu da unuttular. Yediğimiz yemek deneyiminden hiç memnun kalmadık. Burada bir yemek restoranı olmasına rağmen, ismine bakılırsa İtalyan restoranı ama içeride sürekli techno müzik çalıyor, bu da rahatsız edici.

Truly underrated. Great food at a fair price and very friendly service. We were a group of 10 and visited twice. Everyone had a good time. Fortunately, we didn't check the Google rating beforehand; otherwise, I might not have picked it.

A nice restaurant with delicious kachapuri and khinkali. The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful during our meal!
