Location: 4/5
The hotel is in a quiet spot, around a 20-minute walk from the nearest ski lift. Although the distance can be a bit much to walk, they offer a reliable free car transfer if you ask. Just a heads up, the path to the hotel isn't often cleared of snow, which can make walking tough.
Sightseeing Tip: Be sure to check out the small monastery/church nearby. It’s just a short stroll away, and the view from the courtyard is truly beautiful.
Soundproofing: 2/5
This was a significant issue. The walls between rooms are quite thin, so you can hear nearly everything from neighboring rooms.
Rooms: 3.5/5
The rooms are a good size and are kept very clean with daily vacuuming. The best part is the fantastic mountain view from the window. However, the beds and pillows aren't particularly comfortable, and the furniture feels a bit outdated.
Facilities & Accessibility: 2/5
The bathrooms are clean but look worn and need updating. Importantly, there's no elevator, so be aware if you have heavy luggage.
Staff: 5/5
The best part of our stay! The staff are extremely friendly, respectful, and always willing to assist.
Food: 4/5
The food is good quality with a nice homemade vibe. However, the options are somewhat limited, which can make meals feel a bit repetitive.
Spa & Extras: 4/5
The spa area (sauna, jacuzzi, and hamam) is excellent — clean, spacious, and good value for the price. One small drawback is that you need to go outside the main building to access the stairs leading down to the spa.
Ski Rental:
There’s a ski and snowboard rental shop conveniently located right next to the hotel. While the selection isn’t extensive, it’s very handy to have so close by.
