Folk House Restaurant

I’ve tasted dishes from all over Georgia, but the meal we had at this folk house was the best by a long shot. It was an incredible experience that I highly recommend to everyone.

После такого насыщенного ужина кажется, что есть не захочется целую неделю, а когда аппетит вернется, будете искать что-то похожее на то, что пробовали у Бессо, и, к сожалению, не найдете! Visiter cet endroit est une expérience incroyable. C'est un vrai artiste polyvalent qui saura ravir vos papilles et vos oreilles ! Nous avons beaucoup apprécié qu'il prenne le temps de nous montrer comment préparer les plats, et nous avons appris énormément sur la région et la Géorgie. La cuisine était savoureuse et tout était végétarien, comme demandé. L'hôte est très sympathique et drôle, et il parle très bien français.

Attention : prévoyez de passer du temps là-bas ! Nous y avons passé plus de 3h et c'était un peu trop court.

Essen bei Beso. Authentische georgische Gerichte, begleitet von professioneller Musik. Die Mitarbeiter sprechen Georgisch, Französisch und Russisch. Wer in Zugdidi ist und traditionelle Gastfreundschaft erleben möchte, sollte hier vorbeischauen.

Wichtig: Immer im Voraus reservieren. Es handelt sich nicht um ein typisches Restaurant. Man wird nur nach Anmeldung und in Gruppen bedient. Es gibt auch eine Erklärung zu den Musikstücken und Instrumenten. Kommt hungrig, ihr werdet satt!

Es ist auch wichtig zu beachten, dass dies kein Fünf-Sterne-Restaurant ist. Man wird quasi in einem Atelier empfangen. Einfach und rustikal, aber dafür authentisch. Wer auf saubere Designer-Möbel hofft, ist hier falsch. Es erinnert eher an ein altes Bauernhaus, hat aber seinen eigenen Charme.

Une petite parenthèse intemporelle en entrant chez Beso. Des plats savoureux, des anecdotes, des blagues, des chansons, des instants suspendus à vivre et à revivre. Merci à Beso, qui parle un français remarquable ! Il nous a même hébergés.

We had an amazing and entertaining evening with Beso! The food was superb, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Remember to book in advance. The ground floor is ideal for 3-5 people, and the upper floor suits small groups of 10-20. Expect to spend around 100 lari per person. They can communicate in French, Russian, and Georgian.
