A friend in the wine business suggested this vineyard to us, and we arranged a tasting through WhatsApp. We were really pleased with the experience.

Although Zurab was traveling, his son guided us through the tasting and explained their traditional winemaking methods. We loved the kisi, rkatsiteli, and saperavi wines. We also got to witness a qvevri opening, which was a wonderful chance to taste wine that had been aging for 5-6 months. It was an exceptional wine that promises to get even better after bottling.

This vineyard was one of the highlights of our trip to Telavi, and we highly recommend it.

We arranged a tasting just a few hours ahead, and the owners kindly accommodated us. Their son conducted the tour; he was extremely pleasant, spoke English fluently, and addressed all our queries. We tried various wines and chacha, and the owner's mother treated us to some delicious snacks. The tour and tasting were very detailed and informative, with excellent wine.

If you find the door closed, don't hesitate to ring the bell! The winemaker's kind mother will greet you warmly. The traditional wines are delicious and reasonably priced for a tasting.

We reserved a tour a few days in advance, costing 40 Lari per person. We tasted four locally produced wines along with Chacha. The owner's mother welcomed us, and we met the owner through a video call. The owner's nephew, who spoke English, showed us around the Marani and explained the history of their winemaking in the region. Some questions were answered by the owner remotely. The place felt really cozy, and the people were very nice. :) The wines we tried were Mtsvane, Rkatsiteli, Kisi, and Saperavi, all of which were excellent, full of character, smooth, and enjoyable. The Chacha was also very smooth. Highly recommend visiting here.

The wine tasting and cellar tour here was the best I've experienced. The owner wasn't around, but his mom was very nice, and we learned about the vineyard's history via a video call. We sampled four wines: Mtsvane, Kisi, Rkatsiteli, and Saperavi, along with the traditional chacha. Highly recommended!
