I had an amazing time on the Kakheti tour! The guide, George, was really knowledgeable, friendly, and entertaining. The tour was great value, with plenty included, like generous food and wine tastings. Everything felt relaxed, and we had enough time at each stop, although it did make for a long day—about 12 hours!
There are chances to buy snacks and drinks at different stops, and I highly recommend trying the roadside bread! Just a heads up, the lunch break was around 5 pm, so it's a good idea to eat something before then.
We spent a lot of time driving. The first part had George sharing insights and history, while the second half played some music, which was nice for resting. The minivan was comfortable, but we had to ask for the air conditioning to be turned up since it got quite warm. Be cautious if you're prone to car sickness, as some roads were bumpy and winding.
One downside was the beginning of the tour; it could have been better organized. A few of us had trouble finding the meeting point. There was just one person directing everyone to the different minivans, and they weren't in uniform, which made it confusing since the actual meeting point was across the street. - Е

Мы ездили с Мамука на однодневный тур в Казбеги и по Старой Военной дороге. Он действительно замечательный! Очень веселый и эрудированный, рассказывает интересно и с юмором. Определенно рекомендую!
