If you like waiting for hours in long lines, this clinic could be the right choice for you. The main issue here isn't the medical professionals or the equipment, but rather the total disorganization. There are no actual appointment times; patients must join a live queue and wait indefinitely, which can be frustrating for routine visits as well as important consultations and procedures.
As a non-citizen, I spent around 6,000 GEL for LASIK surgery and associated exams. For that price, I anticipated a higher level of service and organization. Instead, I faced lengthy waits, confusion, poor communication, and a disregard for patients' time. On the day of my surgery, I waited about an hour without receiving any clear updates on what was happening or when I would be seen. The experience was chaotic and stressful, especially when patients need support and reassurance. Some of these issues might have stemmed from language barriers.
Another significant problem is the lack of coordination for examinations. Patients often have to return multiple times on different days, going through the same waiting process repeatedly instead of completing all necessary tests efficiently.
I was also asked to sign surgical consent forms that were only in Georgian, with no proper translation or explanation provided in English beforehand. Additionally, I did not receive a copy of the signed documents for my records. This was quite surprising and disappointing for an international patient undergoing elective eye surgery. On a positive note, the surgery itself went well.
