The Niko House Museum is a home collection where the display extends into both the house and the yard. Places like this are gathered by one person over years and show belongings, tools, household objects and whatever accumulated around his occupation. The format is informal: the owner shows everything himself and tells how it all ended up here.
The house is on Giorgi Gegechkori street, in a residential district of Tbilisi, away from the tourist centre. The block is quiet, with private houses and gardens. The yard is part of the display, so the visit makes more sense in daylight and dry weather.
