The history of each state is truly unique. It shows different periods of the country's development, its fall and ascent, victories and defeats.

The Tbilisi Museum of History named after Joseph Grishashvili-Karvasla introduces travelers to the unique history of Georgia.

The building has 3 floors.

On the very first of them there are shopping malls where you can buy various souvenirs.

The second floor is the main one, it is here that the most important historical exhibits, archaeological finds, ancient household items and national costumes of that time are stored.

The third floor is occupied by contemporary art: there are works of artists and sculptors of the present time.

Visiting the lower galleries and the wine museum is essential, particularly the Museum of Georgian People's Defense Instruments, which is a private project by Mr. David Nasaridze. This place showcases authentic history and features weapons used by Georgians over the centuries to protect themselves from invaders and sieges. It's open for discussion, but be ready to support your points. Truly!

Müze üç katlı. Bodrumda ayrı bir ücretle giriş yapılan bir şarap müzesi mevcut. Zemin kat, Gürcistan ve Tiflis'in geçmiş yaşamına dair etnografik öğelerle dolu.

The museum shares its building with a market on the lower floor and something like a club upstairs. The noise makes it hard to concentrate on the exhibitions. Honestly, there's not much to focus on anyway. Maybe a guided tour would make it better, but it's mostly just old items displayed on shelves. There are no descriptions or historical texts to help you learn anything. Most of the exhibits are from the 19th and 20th centuries—was there really no Tbilisi before that? Overall, it's not worth the visit or the money; it's just a tourist trap.

Don't spend your money here. The collection consists mainly of shoes, dishes, a few pieces of clothing, and some photos. Admission is separate from the wine museum downstairs, which is actually worth checking out.
