The memorial to the Georgian soldiers who died in the Russian-Georgian war in Abkhazia is located near the city center. The height of the column is quite impressive – forty-eight meters in height! The column is twisted upwards and is made of large metal blocks. It is quite an interesting monument of modern architecture.
The memorial is dedicated to the freedom and independence of the Georgian people and was installed in 2010. This memorial is a real monument dedicated to a significant part of the history of the Georgian people, so be sure to spend a few minutes of your time and visit this place.

Памятник «Башня героев» был воздвигнут, как монумент погибшим в борьбе за независимость, в честь грузинских солдат, погибших в русско-грузинской войне в Абхазии. Этот памятник представляет собой колонну высотой 48 метров из металла и оргстекла, на которой высечены имена погибших воинов. Расположен он в Тбилиси на площади Героев. Как память, я согласна, стоит внимания, но вот как архитектурное творение, то нет.
