The Mother Georgia Monument is located in the old part of the city, on a high hill. If you go up to the monument itself, you can see the whole city from a bird's-eye view. The monument is very large in its size, so it is best to look at it a little from afar to see it completely.
Mother Georgia has a cup in one of her hands, and a sword in the other. There is wine in the bowl, which is intended for milking friends, and the sword is intended for enemies and ill–wishers.
The existing monument was installed back in 1963, before that there was exactly the same statue, only made entirely of wood.
