The recycling collection point "Parki ar minda (Vake)" in Tbilisi is an important part of an environmental education project aimed at reducing waste in Georgia. This is an initiative created to stimulate a conscious attitude towards waste generation and its subsequent recycling. The main goal of the project is to minimize the amount of waste sent to landfills and contribute to the long-term sustainable development of the region.
One of the key services offered by the point is an eco-taxi service. This convenient service allows residents and office workers to send recyclables for recycling directly from their home or workplace. The collection point accepts a wide range of waste, providing residents of Tbilisi with an affordable solution for a more environmentally friendly lifestyle.
Visitors can also take advantage of the "Return Garages" where they can drop off waste free of charge. This location accepts the same categories of recyclables as eco-taxi and sometimes special types of waste. Stay tuned for the latest updates on accepting special types of recyclables.
In addition to providing waste collection and processing services, the “Parki ar minda (Vake)” point is actively involved in training and consulting on waste management issues. Since 2020, the project team has accumulated significant experience in the field of waste sorting and reduction and is ready to share its knowledge. The point regularly conducts seminars and provides advice on creating effective separate collection systems for businesses and the public.
