Mukhambazi restaurant in Tbilisi opened in 2014. At the moment, its founder is the People's Artist of Georgia, a former dancer, as well as an honorary citizen of Tbilisi – Dzhumber Beradze.

Thanks to his creative approach, the concept of the restaurant was assembled, the beautiful interior of the institution was determined, as well as popularity among many guests, both foreign and local residents.

Coming to the establishment, the visitor will find delicious barbecue dishes prepared by the chef, a tasteful music program that will help to enjoy the atmosphere, as well as the best service, friendliness, preparedness and highly qualified staff.

The atmosphere is enjoyable, with lovely music and a charming courtyard, no complaints about that. But the prices are too steep, and the servings aren't as described. We were told we'd get blankets, yet those never came. The shashlik was far too salty, and although the khinkali were edible, they were spicy, despite the waiter assuring us otherwise. You can eat them, but they’ll leave your mouth burning, and they’re pricey at €2.40 each. I’m attaching a photo of the eggplants — they were HORRIBLE! So salty and sour that we spat them out. We calmly explained everything to the waiter, even invited him to taste how bad they were. They just moved the dish to another table without apologizing or offering a replacement, and it was still on our bill. How is this acceptable? Why do basic customer service rules seem to be ignored in Georgia? I respect and love this country and its people, but the service here is, frankly, terrible.

The restaurant has a beautiful garden setting and serves genuine Georgian dishes. They brew their own beers, offering both light and dark varieties, as well as a mix of the two. Traditional Georgian music adds to the pleasant atmosphere. The prices are great for what you get. I enjoyed a Georgian cucumber and tomato salad with walnuts, some grilled meat, and tried three of their house-brewed beers, all for just 62 GEL (about $22). It's an excellent place for a family dinner, and I definitely recommend it.

The food scores a solid 9 out of 10. The service is excellent, and the manager pays close attention to every guest, offering great help. We had a wonderful evening, and I'm glad there are places in Tbilisi with such high-quality management and service.
