Both times I visited this coffee spot, I was met with suspicion and disrespect from the older gentleman, which puzzled me since I’m a polite foreigner who tips well. I even brought chocolates since they don’t have sweets or a full food menu. The coffee was okay. I thanked him in two languages he understands. He saw me play chess twice—once with a former champion who was very kind, and then against him, which I also won. Both times, he acted oddly, even refusing my requests to buy more coffee and juice. This isn’t a good way to run a business. I won’t be back. If his son reads this, you're doing well, but please explain to your dad that this behavior isn’t good for business.
