Description
The Catholic Cathedral of the Ascension of the Virgin Mary is located near the city center, close to all other sights of Tbilisi.
But despite its tourist location, tourists do not come here so often, so you will be able to view this cathedral from all sides in peace and get inside without hindrance.
The exterior of the small building is made of red brick and decorated with carvings, and the windows have bright stained glass windows. Inside the cathedral itself there are many frescoes, beautifully decorated icons and carved arches.
