The staff recruitment standards here are frankly terrible. During my first visit, the young employees were wandering around in their outdoor jackets over their uniforms. While I was checking the ingredients on a yoghurt container, one of them squeezed between me and the shelf to look in the mirror. I then spent ten frustrating minutes looking for someone to weigh some nuts for me. Fish is rarely available, and when I asked when it might be back in stock, the reply was simply, “It isn’t.” 🤣

On my second visit, I had a shopping bag from another store with a blanket that was too big for the dirty little lockers provided. There were no signs at the entrance in any language indicating that bags from other shops like Manamo were not allowed. No security guard was present, and the staff didn’t say anything. Only after I had almost filled my basket did an elderly man rush over, yelling "girl!" at me. When I politely asked him to tone it down and speak to me properly, he felt entitled to insult me and demanded that I cram my bedding into a locker that was clearly too small and dirty. It was ridiculous. This level of service is completely unacceptable. A serious wave of formal complaints to the Georgian Competition and Consumer Protection Agency might finally make management reconsider their hiring practices. I simply took my bag and left. I don't just come in for a loaf of bread; my spending at this place is usually well above average. In contrast, when I went to Carrefour afterward, I faced no such nonsense. I walked in with my bag, finished my shopping without issue, and left peacefully. The attitude towards customers here is beyond acceptable limits. Either invest in proper training for your staff or stop hiring those who lead to these kinds of reviews. No amount of advertising can make up for such behavior in the long run.

Плюсы - работает 24/7, есть товары, которые не найдешь в других магазинах. Минусы - персонал ужасно грубый. Они постоянно закатывают глаза и показывают, что я им мешаю. Сотрудники, которые взвешивают овощи и мясо, бросают пакеты на прилавок; охранники тоже грубые - меня несколько раз ругали, потому что не могут донести свою мысль спокойно. Мне не нравится этот магазин из-за людей, которые там работают, и я предпочитаю идти в соседний Carrefour.

With Wolt, I can swap items or get a refund without a call. It's quicker and more convenient.

I really like this spot. Just be prepared for the steep prices :)
