I took this cable car several times during my stay in Tbilisi. It offers breathtaking views and helps you get your bearings around the city’s main attractions. The journey ends at the historic Narikala Fortress after crossing the Mtkvari River and the Old Town. It lasts about 5 to 7 minutes and provides stunning views of the cityscape, the river, and landmarks like Metekhi Church and the Mother of Georgia statue through its glass-walled cabins.

We paid 2 lari for the teleferik using the card that is also valid in the metro. For a round trip, it was 5 lari. I recommend taking the teleferik to enjoy the view. However, the fortress was closed when we visited. As for the Mother of Georgia statue, you can only see it from the back when you reach the top.
