The Media Voice Educational and Research Center, located in Tbilisi, is an important organization for the support and development of the media and mass communications sector in Georgia. Founded in 2015, the center operates as a non-entrepreneurial (non-profit) legal entity and is actively engaged in educational and research activities aimed at strengthening democratic values in civil society.
Media Voice's mission is to train and support journalists to empower the media. The center provides consulting and educational programs in the areas of media psychology, public relations, media law and other interdisciplinary areas. This allows journalists and media representatives to develop the skills and knowledge needed to work in a modern society where it is important to respect diversity and support creativity.
Through membership in the Coalition's Media Freedom Advisory Network and the Global Media Development Forum, Media Voice is part of large international communities working to protect media freedom and support journalism. The center's sources of income are donations, grants and other funds permitted by law, which ensures financial stability and the opportunity for further development.
A visit to the Media Voice Center will be useful for journalists, researchers and representatives of the media industry seeking professional development and strengthening democratic traditions. The organization welcomes all who support values based on truth, diversity, creativity and collaboration, with an emphasis on building trusting and productive team relationships.
