    Student in Georgia

The prices here are absurdly high for what you get—$350 for four people and $550 for two. It's basically just a tiny room with a bed and bathroom. You can find fully furnished studios for $350, with utilities costing around $50-100 at most. They take forever to fix any issues; you have to keep asking and may still not get them resolved, which leads many students to give up. Some photos they show are AI-generated; in reality, the wallpaper is torn, the sockets are loose, and there's a roach problem, mainly because food is often left out in the open. There's only one working washing machine for the whole place, and we can't use the dryer because it causes outages. The food is okay but usually very greasy. The study room is decent with gaming PCs and a PS5, but you won't use them much since you’ll be busy with university. They make you sign a contract that locks you in, so living with someone in an apartment would be a better option and cost less than half of what you'd pay here. You could also use a preferred tiffin service or cook for yourself. Just be cautious about the gaming room and study room; check the reality before making a decision. Most positive reviews seem to be from the owner and friends. It looks good on paper, but it's not as great as it seems. Other hostels may be worse, though.
