Khiblari is the name of the cathedral in Samtredia. For the town, a major railway junction of Imereti, it serves as the principal church.
The cathedral stands within the town, and getting here is easy at any season: Samtredia is linked by road and rail with Kutaisi, Batumi and the whole of Imereti. Around the town there are village shrines as well - the church of St. Metropolitan Nazar in Kulashi and the St. George church in Ianeti.
Services are held in the working cathedral; when entering, keep to the usual rules - modest dress and quiet. The times of services are best learned on the spot.
