The Kviratskhoveli church stands in Metekhi village of Kaspi Municipality. The name comes from the feast of Kviratskhovloba, and the village should not be confused with the famous Metekhi above the Kura in Tbilisi.
Metekhi lies south of Kaspi, in the hills above the Kura valley. Less than a kilometre away stand a church of St. George and the church of Archangel Michael of the Barnabiantkari area.
Regular services may not be held, and the church can be approached at any time. Modest clothing is appropriate, and candles and offerings are left in their places.
