The shrine in honour of Lomisi stands in the surroundings of Ikvnevi village of Gori Municipality. Nishi in Georgian means a wayside shrine: a small niche with a place for a candle is set up where people stop to pray.
The name Lomisi belongs to a well known mountain shrine in Mtiuleti far to the east, and this niche is named in its honour. Another Lomisi shrine stands in Ghvlevi, some twelve kilometres away.
The shrine can be approached at any time. Candles and modest offerings are left here, gifts of others are not touched, and the place deserves careful treatment.
