The church of Saint George at Didi Ikvi stands on a mountain slope in a wooded grove, in the area of Chachubeti village in Kaspi Municipality. The building is badly damaged: the northwestern wall is entirely gone.
Sandstone blocks and Tezami tuff went into the work, the tuff used in the load bearing parts and noticeably worn. The surviving walls and the apse are plastered, and a small part of the conch survives together with a fragment of the triumphal arch resting on a profiled capital on the south side.
An arched window is cut at the centre of the semicircular apse, square niches are made in the side walls of the sanctuary, and two arched windows sit in the south wall. Smooth blocks served as facing. Outside, a door with an architrave stands in the western part of the wall, and beside it a single tier wall pilaster of well polished sandstone ashlars, finished with a profiled capital onto which the vault passed.
